Windows Users with Freedom to Browse
Thanks to a legal agreement between Microsoft and the European Union’s Competition Commission late last year, millions of European Internet Explorer users will be given the option to choose an alternative browser from 1 March, 2010.
Microsoft Internet Explorer was previously always the default browser for computers kitted up with the Windows operating system. However, next month it will be obliged to let its users install the web browser of their choice including popular alternatives Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera.
The choice will be presented in the form of a software update that will arrive automatically for all Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 customers.

Yes I remember the days when I was still using IE. I must say though, out of Safari, Chrome, Opera and Firefox, that Firefox is still my favourite. I was using Chrome for a while, but I prefer all the addons that Firefox allows
