China Internet Users at 290 Million
Mainland China had 290 million Internet users by the end of November 2008, reports xinhuanet.com quoting the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology vice director Lou Qinjian. Domestic Internet users came in at about 281 million by mid-October, while China Internet Network Information Center data showed 253 million users by June 30, 2008.
