Colombia with 17,478,505 Internet Users

CRT, the Colombian Telecommunications Regulation Agency, reported that Internet users increased 46.4% last year, recording the impresive figure of 17,478,505 Internet users at year-end 2008. CRT indicated that broadband access represents 77.4% of Internet subscribers in Colombia. Regarding mobile Internet, there are 3,926,181 subscribers, a 9.6% of the 40,871,184 total mobile phone subscribers at year-end 2008. Further reading at Internet in Colombia
